Macram’e is an Arabic word, signifying an ornamented fringe or trimmings, which has been adopted as term for a certain kind of hand work also known as knotted fringes or Mexican lace and produced of the knotting, inter-weaving and tying together of threads.

The final year fashion design students of INIFD Gurukul Ahmedabad in the subject of “Creative Embroideries And Embellishment” have created astounding ensembles by using the same technique under the guidance by “Ms Naimishi Shashtri”. They have styled their garments in very unique style each having a different thought process under the guidance of “Ms Rupal Jain”.
