Corona pandemic has forced all the fashion design institutes to be closed. But, iNIFD Ahmedabad is a Fashion Design institute that is still making a difference with online training by experienced faculties like Ms. Renushree Saha.
Third year students of Fashion Designing, Bhavyata Chavda & Nisha Desai created swatch designs.
Bhavyata inspired by the natural scenery of Corkscrew Canyons which is a natural picturesque found near the banks of Colorado River. She created swatch designs with an embossed texture by “pin tucks” stitch.
Nisha inspired by the natural scenery of a volcanic eruption of lava & created swatch designs with textile waste by using acrylic colors on them. Keeping the tone and mood of the eruption in mind as inspiration, she hand-painted them on the fabrics, which can be used for clutches, book covers, and even apparel designs.
