Creative Corner
Bengal is a state with rich, vibrant and artistic culture with a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. The unique features of art, heritage, music and literature of this state gives it a special identity.
1st year student of INIFD Ahmedabad – Fashion Design Institute took this state as an inspiration and under the observation and guidance of Miss Renushree Saha [faculty], developed various products using motifs, art works, colors etc from Bengal and presented it in a theme-based display.
Students of INIFD Gurukul Ahmedabad used available/old products like cane,bamboo product, waste fabric, old accessories, sarees and recreated into home décor items with their creativity by using cane into baskets for florals, paper holder baskets, wall hangings and Old fabric into table runner, mat runner, table cover, Scarfs etc. They have also used various techniques like Hand painting by taking Bengali motifs, art works, fabric manipulation, threads setting and many more.
